Cone heads / conical vessel ends · 锥形封头
Profile and terminology
A conical head connects a large circular end to a smaller circular end through a tapered profile. A specification needs both end diameters and the cone angle, rather than a single diameter.
GB/T 25198-2023 models: CNA / CSA / CDA
The inquiry tool includes CNA without flanging, CSA flanged at the large end, and CDA flanged at both ends. Enter the cone half-angle α, not the full included angle. Confirm knuckle radii and flange dimensions for the selected form against the project drawing.
What to include in your inquiry
Large-end inside diameter; small-end inside diameter; cone half-angle; nominal thickness; applicable flange lengths and knuckle radii; height; material grade; quantity.
Use millimetres for dimensions. Identify the exact material grade rather than only writing “steel” or “stainless steel”. You can also include edge preparation, inspection requirements, delivery needs and a drawing reference in the notes.
Configure conical headsThe configurator creates an inquiry list. The email button opens your mail application; it does not submit an order or send a message automatically.
Drawing and design review
These descriptions identify geometry and information needed for an inquiry. They do not establish allowable pressure, certify compliance or replace a vessel design calculation. Confirm the applicable standard, drawing and final dimensions before ordering.
